A 5-Star Experience: The Commons in Lincoln Earns Quality Care Distinction

LINCOLN, MA–The Commons in Lincoln, a Benchmark Signature Living Community in Lincoln, recently achieved one of the highest designations of quality care and services to its residents—an overall 5-Star rating of its rehabilitation center from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
CMS ranks health care centers nationwide to help families and caregivers compare senior health care centers and make the best choice when deciding on care for a loved one. The Commons in Lincoln is one of only a handful of senior living communities in the area to obtain this 5-Star rating.
“I know how hard our team works to provide excellent care, and I often receive commendations from residents who have spent time in our rehabilitation center,” said Reynaldo LeBlanc, the executive director for The Commons in Lincoln. “Earning a 5-Star rating is really a reward for the team, because their efforts are now publicly recognized in a meaningful way.”
The Commons in Lincoln has also been selected by U.S. News & World Report for the second straight year as having some of the best skilled nursing and rehabilitation care in the country. The community is recognized in U.S. News’ annual Best Nursing Homes for 2019-2020, which is an evaluation of over 15,000 communities. The community is now among an elite list of communities nationwide; just 19% of U.S. nursing homes were recognized as “high performers.”
