Altercare Completes Acquisition of Ohio-based Greystone Healthcare Management facilities with the inclusion of Cambridge & Coshocton centers

NORTH CANTON, OH–Altercare Integrated Health Services (Altercare) completed their agreement to acquire the operations of eight Ohio-based centers managed by Greystone Healthcare Management on June 1, 2018, with the addition of two remaining facilities in Cambridge and Coshocton. The previous center locations include those in Adena, Newark (2), Somerset, Thornville, and Zanesville, which onboarded February 1, 2018. In total, this completed acquisition provides an additional 541 licensed beds for Altercare.

The Schroer family founded Altercare in Northeast Ohio in 1973 and since then has embraced each community’s unique needs to serve those requiring skilled nursing care and rehabilitation
services.
