Belmont Village Senior Living Opens Its 27th Community in Calabasas

April 20, 2018

CALABASAS, CA–Belmont Village Senior Living has opened its twenty-seventh community at 24141 Ventura Blvd. in Calabasas. Designed by Architects Van Tilburg, Banvard & Soderbergh and constructed by W.E. O’Neil Construction Company, the three-story, Mediterranean-style building includes 140 residences for Assisted Living and Memory Care. Amenities include a professionally managed fitness center, heated saltwater pool, full service salon, screening room, chef-prepared dining and exterior courtyards with outdoor dining patios and gardens.

“We’re so pleased to be a part of Calabasas and look forward to being an active and engaged neighbor,” said Patricia Will, Belmont Village founder and CEO. “Each Belmont Village is uniquely shaped by the personalities and interests of its residents and community, and we’re especially eager to see the shape that Belmont Village Calabasas takes. I’m certain it will be extraordinary.”

Belmont Village Calabasas is the company’s seventh community in Greater Los Angeles. The site was chosen for its proximity to The Commons retail area and an array of other community facilities to make it easy for residents and their families to enjoy an active lifestyle. Each Belmont Village community is built to purpose and licensed throughout the building to provide a blended model of care that offers flexibility for residents if needs change, and allows couples with varying health or cognitive needs to stay together.

“We design our programs in much the same way that we design our buildings,” said Will.  “We integrate the latest research available, and we translate that into fun, engaging programs that actually support our residents’ own goals of living full, purposeful lives at every stage.  Our job is to provide the right care and support to help our residents enjoy their full potential.”

Belmont Village communities offer a range of enrichment programs to help maintain physical and mental acuity at all levels. Residents with early to moderate memory loss benefit from Belmont Village’s award-winning Circle of Friends® program designed to help maintain brain health and function for longer. Belmont Village also provides memory care for residents with later stage loss through its dedicated, Person-Centered Living® program, which includes a full daily calendar of ability-based activities.
