Juniper Communities Announces Hiring of Eric Adolph to Lead Lakewood Reserve, A Juniper Senior Living Community

June 11, 2018

LAKEWOOD, CO–Juniper Communities welcomes Eric Adolph to its management team as executive director of Lakewood Reserve, A Juniper Senior Living Community. Juniper assumed management of the seniors housing community earlier this spring. Built in 1999, the 112,516 square foot, two-story community consists of 118 assisted living units and 19 memory care units; and will soon be undergoing major renovations.

“We look forward to Eric Adolph overseeing and leading the renovation effort and associates at Lakewood Reserve,” said Lynne Katzmann, CEO and founder of Juniper Communities. “Eric brings over 10 years of leadership experience in senior living to the Juniper family. Previously, he successfully led teams in various operational roles in small assisted living, and large CCRC communities. When Eric was pursuing his collegiate studies, he also served as a caregiver for his grandmother, diagnosed with severe Alzheimer’s disease. It was through this wonderfully rewarding experience that he found his true passion and life’s mission, which drove him to pursue a career in senior living. We are truly excited to have him onboard.”

As executive director, one of Adolph’s goals will be to enhance the quality of life of the residents, their families, and associates, through the implantation of Juniper’s innovative signature programs. Juniper has been widely recognized in the seniors housing industry for pioneering and introducing programs like Connect4Life, which is a cutting-edge model of integrating various healthcare services necessary for managing chronic health issues, while facilitating the coordination between primary care physicians, the community, and other health providers that service its residents. This provides residents with a more holistic care plan, providing a higher quality of physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and social wellbeing.

“Through my experience in caring for the elderly, I have developed the belief that creating a culture of warmth and compassion, with a purpose to serve, provides the means to success in our business. It fosters a highly collaborative environment, in which our associates and residents can truly thrive each day,” Adolph said. “As Juniper is anchored in a strong culture of servant-leadership, combined with a commitment to innovation and utilizing technology to better serve its seniors, I couldn’t be more excited to join the team!”

Adolph holds a bachelor’s degree in Gerontology from the University of North Texas. He and his sister were born and raised in Southern California. Growing up in the outdoor lifestyle of California, he enjoys surfing when he gets the chance, and spends much of his personal time hiking, biking, and snowboarding in the Colorado Mountains with his fiancée, Shanna. They are eager to wed this September!
