New Senior Living Complex Coming To Cypress, TX

CYPRESS, TX–Officials of Civitas Senior Living, Summerlin Asset Management and Consolidated Construction Co., Inc. announce that construction will begin this summer on a new senior living facility in Cypress, Tex.

Park Creek Independent Living will be a new four-story, 147,000 square foot complex with 126 units, detached garages and covered parking. Public areas will include a commercial kitchen for full-service meals, bistro, and an outdoor pool and courtyard area. It will be located at 16718 Huffmeister Road, near the intersection of Meadowside Park Drive. The project was designed by Rees Architects of Dallas.

Consolidated Construction Co., Inc. of Appleton, Wisconsin has been contracted to build the project. Site work will begin in May and completion is scheduled for the summer of 2017. Local subcontractors and vendors will complete most of the work, which is expected to support 300 construction-related jobs and create an economic impact of more than $30 million to the regional economy during construction.

Summerlin Asset Management of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. is the property owner and developer. Civitas Senior Living will manage and operate Park Creek Independent Living under the direction of Wayne and Misti Powell. Together this management team has more than 30 years of experience operating senior living communities in Texas. At Park Creek, the goal is to create the opportunity for seniors to enjoy life in a comfortable and relaxing environment, customized just for them.
