Oakmont of Fresno Names Executive Director, Health Services Director

Windsor, California: Oakmont of Fresno named Heidi Setty, a senior living industry veteran, as executive director and also welcomed Miya Prosser as its health services director.

Setty joins the Oakmont Senior Living team with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the senior living space and has been an administrator for more than two decades. Setty had oversight for 15 communities as a financial consultant as well.

“I am thrilled to be joining Oakmont of Fresno. Oakmont has a reputation as a top-notch senior living provider and I look forward to ensuring that continues and that we are innovative in our approaches to health care and memory care for our residents,” Setty said.

Prosser started her nursing career while in high school as she comes from a family of nurses and loves the geriatric setting. She was a CNA and then became a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). She has a wide range of experience from working in a Skilled Nursing Facility to Assisted Living.

“I look forward to being in the community and engaging with the residents at Oakmont of Fresno. I love hearing seniors tell their unique stories and appreciate those,” Prosser said. “Wellness is a big part of Oakmont’s programming and I am happy to be part of it.”

Setty attended CSU Fresno and received a BA in Natural Sciences – Biology and an MBA – Human Resources.

Prosser said she expects to go back to school to become an RN one day.
