StoneGate Senior Living Names Management Team for Accel at College Station

“Since we broke ground on Accel at College Station, we’ve worked to find the most qualified and experienced individuals to care for the residents,” said John Taylor, CEO of StoneGate Senior Living. “We look forward to providing quality care to both short-term and long-term residents, as well as becoming active participants in the Bryan-College Station community.”

Accel at College Station, which celebrated its grand opening Nov. 16, is located at 1500 Medical Avenue. The 116-bed facility will employ approximately 100 people and will serve as both an in-patient transitional care center and outpatient center.

The following key executives now serve as Accel at College Station’s leadership team:

Kim McFall, LNFA, CALA, LBSW, is named administrator. With 28 years of healthcare industry leadership, she will oversee and direct the day-to-day operations at Accel of College Station.

Tammy Simmons, RN, is named director of nursing. With 22 years of broad-based experience in healthcare, she will lead clinical services, manage standard of care, and provide leadership of the nursing department.

Ronald Tappan joins the team as the physical plant manager. He has 30 years of physical plant management and regional maintenance director experience and will oversee maintenance and environmental services.

Tina Beskow is appointed the business office manager. With 12 years of customer service and human resources experience, she will oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable and payroll.

Tammy Hester, CDM, will serve as the nutritional services manager. She holds a culinary arts degree, has 25 years of nutritional management and will oversee the dining services, menu planning, and ensuring excellent dining experiences.

Bianca Moreno is named admissions director. With eight years of business development experience, she will oversee the end-to-end resident admission process.

Accel at College Station has passed all required local and state inspections, and is currently accepting Medicare, Medicaid and private pay residents.
