The Trace Hosts Its Annual Senior Mardi Gras Celebration

COVINGTON, LA–The Trace will host its Annual Senior Mardi Gras celebration on Friday, February 10th starting at 10:00 A.M. The event will include a crowning of a king and queen as well as a parade featuring the Franklinton high school marching band and dance team. All are welcome to attend this family friendly event to celebrate the rich history of this devotional festival. Please make sure you arrive by 9:45 A.M. as we will be closing the road for the parade.

“Mardi Gras is a celebration near and dear to all of our residents,” said Richard Totorico, Executive Director for The Trace. “Although we have all aged, we all want to be a part of the festivities. So because many of our residents are not as mobile as they once were, we bring the celebration and fun to them. Please join us at this family friendly event. We look forward to having you.”
