Watermark Appoints Executive to “Tell the Inspiring Stories”

January 22, 2020

TUSCON, AZ–As Watermark Retirement Communities continues to grow, a destination marketing executive has come aboard in the newly-created position of public relations manager. Watermark officials say Vicki Doyle’s appointment is part of their focus on conveying how the company transforms lives through its signature engagement programs and extraordinary communities where residents thrive.

Doyle most recently served as markets manager for Destination Travel Network. In this role, she handled client relationships and the strategic launch of community-based digital advertising programs for over 140 destination marketing organizations throughout North America.

She previously was vice president of community relations and visitor services for Visit Tucson and held public information positions with the City of Tucson and the Tucson Airport Authority.

“In joining our team, Vicki will help us tell the inspiring stories of how the Watermark lifestyle and our signature programs transform lives in extraordinary ways,” said Jill Hofer, director of communication and public relations for Watermark. “With her destination marketing expertise, she keenly understands the power of bringing exceptional places and people together to create experiences and convey the stories that unfold.”

Watermark creates communities where people thrive through experiences beyond the ordinary and lifestyles far removed from the traditional concept of senior living. It was the thirteenth-largest senior living operator in 2019, according to the American Seniors Housing Association, with nearly 60 communities coast to coast. Watermark has been named among the top 25 Best Workplaces for Aging Services in a national program conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute and published on Fortune.com. A privately-held company with a reputation for service, innovation, integrity and financial stability, Watermark is based in Tucson, Arizona.
