August 9, 2024

BRICK, NJ — Marquis Health Consulting Services has appointed a new leadership team for its expanding Senior Living Division, according to a press release. Alan Eserner is now vice president of operations and Jules Dewey is vice president of sales.

Eserner and Dewey oversee a growing portfolio of more than one dozen Marquis-serviced assisted-living and independent-living client communities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

Alan Eserner

“Alan and Jules are esteemed senior-living professionals, whose complementary expertise creates a powerhouse of knowledge and dedication,” said Division President Michael Smith, RN, LNHA. “The Marquis brand is well known as a progressive administrative and consulting services provider for the skilled-nursing industry. Over the past few years, our senior-living client portfolio has grown considerably, and having a top-tier leadership team in place is vital to ensuring excellence in all facets of the resident and staff experience. Alan and Jules are among the industry’s best. We already appreciate their contributions.”

Eserner, a licensed nursing home administrator, has more than 15 years of executive and management experience.

“Jules and I are excited to be part of Marquis Senior Living as this division expands to the next level and further establishes the Marquis brand within the senior living sector,” said Eserner. “Our foremost objective is to ensure that each of our client communities meets the distinct lifestyle needs of the residents and regions they serve, even as we work to provide consistent, top-quality support and resources across the portfolio.”

Jules Dewey

Dewey brings more than 15 years of sales and leadership experience in the long-term care industry — including multiple executive positions — to her new role.

“Marquis’ focus on integrity and putting people first is evident in all the company does,” she said. “This alignment with my own philosophy on doing business immediately drew me to this organization.”

The assisted- and independent-living communities that Marquis serves — many of which are part of continuing care retirement campuses — are known for providing luxury living with gourmet dining and a mix of programming and activities. They offer access to personalized services as needed, when needed.

Multiple communities are currently in the midst of Marquis-led renovation and modernization programs to elevate their amenities and services to a new level — one that reflects the evolving demands of discerning seniors. Several have been recognized recently at the national level for excellence in senior living. Accolades include 2024 AHCA/NCAL 2024 Bronze — Commitment to Quality Awards; 2024 Best of Senior Living Award honors from A Place for Mom; 2024 Best Senior Living Community ratings by U.S. News & World Report; and the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission, a national standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.
