Accel at Longmont Celebrates Grand Opening with June 5 Ribbon Cutting and Open House

Accel at Longmont’s 76-bed facility will employ approximately 125-150 people and serve as both an inpatient transitional care center and outpatient center. The new facility provides transitional post‐acute care services, including physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation services. The skilled nursing facility will also provide respite care.

Accel at Longmont practices a lifetime wellness philosophy, with services committed to delivering comprehensive spiritual, mental and social wellness for its patients. The facility will also focus on such high-priority care practices as wound care, bariatric treatment, stroke and cardiopulmonary recovery, orthopedic care and infectious disease treatment.

All patient suites will offer modern amenities and technologies—flat-panel TVs, Wi-Fi—and a high-quality dining experience, with meal service available in patient rooms and the center’s dining room.

Accel at Longmont’s advanced rehabilitation gym will offer modern equipment and technologies that help patients quickly complete post-acute rehabilitation.

Short-term residents will enjoy a variety of activities to promote healing and recovery including “Just Visiting” daily events designed explicitly for residents staying only a brief time, as well as community excursions, movie nights, sporting events, games, arts and crafts, current events and other discussions, religious activities, exercise groups, holiday celebrations and a Resident Council.

Accel at Longmont completed state and local inspections. The facility will accept private pay and Medicare.
