Aspire for Well-Being Launches, Becomes Holding Company to The Highlands at Wyomissing

August 23, 2024

WYOMISSING, PA — The formation of Aspire for Well-Being, a nonprofit holding company, has been announced in a press release. The new company comprises a life-plan community and several ancillary service offerings. It is designed to deliver care to older adults through the senior-focused entities in the Aspire for Well-Being family, including Aspire for Well-Being Home Care, Aspire for Well-Being Healthcare Staffing, and The Highlands at Wyomissing, a senior-living community in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

This new model allows for flexibility and service delivery for all Aspire for Well-Being entities, while exploring new opportunities to serve the growing senior population in Pennsylvania.

Aspire for Well-Being has become the holding company to The Highlands at Wyomissing as well as the additional, independently operated entities under the Aspire for Well-Being umbrella. The Aspire for Well-Being entities will provide these important services to The Highlands to start.

“The creation of Aspire for Well-Being represents a commitment to the future of senior living,” said Kevin DeAcosta, president/CEO of Aspire for Well-Being and The Highlands at Wyomissing. “This innovative structure will allow us to leverage our strengths in serving the interests of today’s older adults in new and broader ways. As we look ahead, we are excited about the opportunities this brings for growth and collaboration and to further our mission.”

As part of Aspire for Well-Being, The Highlands will continue to operate under its existing name, with the same dedication to providing care and services to its residents. Under its new holding company, The Highlands will be able to more effectively leverage resources and expertise across its operations.

The other two initial entities of Aspire for Well-Being, its home care and healthcare staffing offerings, will initially focus on continuing to support The Highlands, with a future vision of serving the broader Berks County area and beyond.
