Beloved Owners Return To Open New Senior Living Community The Ridglea

August 4, 2017

FORT WORTH, TX–Lou and Malcolm Street, along with Wayne and Misti Powell of Civitas Senior Living, are proud to announce the opening of the Welcome Center on the site of their new community The Ridglea. The Streets and Powells owned the Courtyards at River Park in Fort Worth for nearly three decades before selling the community in 2013.

“Since 2013, we have continued to get phone calls from residents, families, and previous employees wanting to be a part of any new community we develop,” Malcolm Street says. “We are glad that we will now have something to offer them.”

The Ridglea, a community for senior living, will offer assisted living and memory care. A Welcome Center is now open on the construction site, located at 4109 Westridge Avenue in Fort Worth. At the Welcome Center, guests and prospective residents can see floor plans and color schemes as well as speak to the community relations director. Those interested in reserving their ideal apartment will be able to place a deposit. The Ridglea’s target completion date is December 2017.

The Ridglea’s assisted living lifestyle community offers 24 skilled, compassionate staff members, medication management, three home-cooked meals daily, and beautifully manicured common areas for relaxing and socializing. The memory care experience is one focused on dignity and compassion with customized personal assistance programs and activity centers designed to inspire interaction throughout the day.

“The Ridglea is not a corporation. It is a home,” Street says. “It is a place where quality of care is personal. Where management knows each resident. It is exactly what you want for yourself or your loved one.”
