Civitas Senior Living Announces Development Plans for Dripping Springs / Southwest Austin

The company plans to own, operate, and manage, Ledgestone Senior Living, a Senior Lifestyle Apartment community offering Independent and Assisted Living Apartments along with a Memory Care Cottage in Dripping Springs, the southwest area of Austin.
AUSTIN, Texas, Civitas Senior Living, LLC has broken ground for, Ledgestone Senior Living, a Senior Lifestyle Apartment Community that offers Independent and Assisted Living Apartments along with a Memory Care Cottage. Construction started on June 26, 2015. The development will be the seventh property in the company’s expanding portfolio.
Trepex Construction Inc. was founded by Brent Hammond, a local resident of the Dripping Springs area. Hammond, who has extensive civil engineering skills across a variety of disciplines, will lead the construction team. Trepex Construction’s commitment to customer service demonstrates their high level of excellence and was the ideal partner for Civitas’ latest development. The building will include 120 Independent Senior Lifestyle Apartments, approximately 60 Assisted Living Studio Suites and One-Bedroom Units, and 10 Private and Semi-Private Memory Care Units.
Ledgestone Senior Living amenities will include a pool, gym, spa, wellness center, walking trails, club house, and elegantly landscaped grounds. The Independent Senior Apartments will have balconies, island kitchens, and multiple floor plans including 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom units with walk-in closets. Social clubs and activities will be designed for the active senior’s interest.
Ledgestone Senior Living will be owned and managed by Civitas under the leadership of Wayne and Misti Powell. Together, this management team has more than 20 years of experience operating senior living communities in Texas. Because Ledgestone Senior Living is privately owned, management can focus on meeting the needs of the residents of their community rather than the demands of shareholders.
