Covenant Living Names Kallheim General Counsel

SKOKIE, IL — Covenant Living Communities and Services, a nonprofit, faith-based senior-living organization, has promoted Cory Kallheim to general counsel. He replaces David Erickson, who was recently promoted himself from that role into the president/CEO position.

Kallheim has been with Covenant Living for nearly two and a half years serving as vice president and as associate general counsel. In his new role, he oversees all legal aspects of Covenant Living’s operations.

“Cory has a tremendous base knowledge of legal aspects within the field of senior living and has been invaluable for Covenant Living,” said Erickson in a press release. “His experience for this new role will make for a seamless transition as we move forward.”

Prior to Covenant Living, Kallheim worked for more than 17 years within the legal department in various roles with LeadingAge, a national association for senior services providers across the country.

“Covenant Living is a wonderful and well-respected organization within senior living and I’m excited for this next chapter of my career,” said Kallheim. “I’m looking forward to continuing to work with David Erickson and the leadership team at Covenant Living.”
