September 30, 2019

STAMFORD, CT–Edgehill is pleased to announce Michael Oloke as its director of nursing. In his new position, he will oversee the nursing personnel and patient care, as well as administrative tasks such as recordkeeping and budgeting.

Oloke has worked in the senior healthcare industry for over 10 years, holding various leadership positions. He is joining the Edgehill team after two years as assistant director of nursing at New Carlton Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

“Michael has an excellent track record of proven compassion and dedication to the well-being of his residents,” said Edgehill Executive Director Chris Barstein. “He has progressive nursing experience and will be leading the nursing team in its pursuit of clinical excellence, delivery of outstanding resident satisfaction, and making Edgehill the provider of choice in all of Connecticut.”

Oloke, who received a master’s degree in health care administration from Walden University, believes his experience in the field will assist him in providing quality care to residents at Edgehill.

“Edgehill already has a phenomenal health care system in place, evident by their recent deficiency-free survey,” said Oloke. “I want to build on what they already offer, enhance resident experience, and create a great culture for the staff to thrive in.”

Edgehill is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Stamford, Connecticut. Together with Benchmark Senior Living, Edgehill offers exceptional maintenance-free senior housing, a wide variety of premium services and amenities, and a full continuum of on-site health care — all part of The Edgehill Lifeplan Advantage.
