GAME-CHANGER! Penrose Launches Next-Gen App for Family Senior Care Oversight

Penrose Senior Care Auditors announces the first and only tech-enabled solution to ensure seniors are okay and receiving the care they need, while providing families peace of mind.

Penrose's user-friendly smart-phone app is designed to automate all key processes of the senior care auditing business:

  • signing up new clients and auditors
  • allowing clients to select auditors and the number of audits needed
  • providing Auditors the platform for the Senior Care-Check Audit itself
  • verifying audits through geo-time stamping
  • emailing real-time final reports to clients

On the heals of team-leading the win of the coveted Facebook PMD Innovation Award, Facebook Marketing Partner, Ryan Felton is Penrose's Chief Technology Officer. Felton states:

This application is changing lives. It puts the care of loved-ones in the palms of families' hands, giving them the ability to know what is going on with their loved-one and to take action, if necessary.

A leading software development firm, thoughtbot, helped to develop the application. "We're excited to have created great technology to enable people to check in on their seniors and know how their loved ones are doing," says Trace Wax, a Director at thoughtbot.

Penrose Check-In® and Senior Care-Check Audit™
The Penrose Senior Care-Check Audit™ is comprised of 150 items across the 7-Factors most concerning families: Senior Observations, Safety, Comfort, Cleanliness, Supplies, Maintenance, and Caregiver Observations.

At only $129 a month and called the Penrose Check-In, families can now rely on an independent third party – who is not a caregiver – to regularly and frequently visit and audit the senior and their living conditions, and then report back to them.

Certified Penrose Senior Care Auditors use the Penrose App on their smart-phones to complete the Care-Check Audits while at the seniors' residences.

Auditors check the exterior of the residence as well as the kitchen, living, bedroom, and bathroom inside the home. If the senior is in a senior care community, they also check the reception area, dining room, and multipurpose or common living areas.

Upon completion of the audits, clients are emailed real-time Care-Check Audit Reports, containing images and videos along with suggestions.

"Penrose continues to set the standards and lead the way for senior care oversight," says Harper.
