Heron’s Key Names New Director of Marketing & Sales

GIG HARBOR, WA–Heron’s Key, the amenity-rich Life Plan Community in Gig Harbor, has named Stacy Edwards as its director of marketing and sales.

Edwards brings extensive and diverse sales, management and business development experience to Heron’s Key. His career started in the sports industry where he played football for the Canadian and Indoor Football Leagues, coached and then transitioned into sales at a sports agency.

The next chapter of his career was spent in telecommunications at Nextel Communications, Comcast and Verizon. Edwards went on to became the director of business development for a national parking solution technology company and operator of GYMGUYZ, a mobile personal training and fitness company.

“Stacy brings very strong skills and experience to the marketing director position. His professional background speaks to how well he fits with Heron’s Key,” said Lisa Hardy, president & CEO at Emerald Communities. “We’re excited for him to join the team.”

Edwards earned a bachelor’s degree in business and corporate communication from the University of Montana.
