LeadingAge PA and Kairos Health Systems Announce Affiliation

MECHANICSBURG, PA—Kairos Health Systems, a provider-owned health system, announced that it signed an agreement to become a wholly-owned subsidiary of LeadingAge PA, one of the country’s largest trade associations for nonprofit aging services providers. This affiliation will enhance opportunities to meet the changing needs of members in the post-acute care environment and strengthen their positions in the marketplace.

By aligning with LeadingAge PA, we can enhance and expand our service offerings to give our current and future members, as well as LeadingAge PA members, access to a stronger network and resources to help them improve quality, satisfaction and financial outcomes for their organizations.”
Kairos Health Systems will continue to operate as a separate entity under Wimer. LeadingAge PA will continue to be led by President and CEO Adam Marles.

The affiliation is expected to be finalized this spring.
LeadingAge PA is a trade association representing more than 340 not-for-profit senior housing, health care and community services across the Commonwealth. These providers serve more than 75,000 older Pennsylvanians and employ over 50,000 dedicated caregivers on a daily basis.
