Lenbrook Receives Out-of-this-World Thank You from Residents

Atlanta, “Surprised. Appreciated. Humbled.” That’s how Chris Keysor, President, and CEO of Lenbrook described his and his team’s reaction when Lenbrook’s residents said “Thank You” in an incredibly kind gesture that was literally out of this world!
During a recent Town Hall Meeting at Atlanta’s premier senior living community, the residents presented a photo of a sign reading “Lenbrook’s Management is highly valued by all residents” that was taken 21 miles into the stratosphere. It was the result of a Lenbrook resident asking a friend, who happens to be a NASA scientist, to send up a thank you sign with one of his projects. This NASA Scientist volunteers to teach students about space by launching a balloon 112,000 feet into the sky. The balloon breaks and then a parachute comes down carrying the camera, instruments, and, in this case, the Lenbrook sign, for the students to retrieve and learn from the data.
“What a unique way to show appreciation to our Lenbrook management team – truly astronomical!” said Keysor. “I continue to be in awe of the generosity and creativity of our residents.
“What they can accomplish with their resources, connections, and energy is simply amazing. Also, I am humbled when I think about what our residents have had to endure and what our associates have had to balance by coming to work – with their pressures at home and the challenges at work. To see to what great lengths our residents have gone to show their appreciation is extraordinary. And this truly makes the Lenbrook management team feel on top of the world!”
