September 25, 2019

MINNETONKA, MN–New Perspective announced that Ryan Novaczyk has been appointed CEO and Chris Hyatt has been appointed President of New Perspective.

“I’m thrilled that Ryan and Chris will be leading the charge towards our vision of 10,000 seniors Living Life on Purpose® in our communities by 2025,” said Todd Novaczyk, who will assume the position of Chairman of the Board. “Their energy and commitment to servant leadership and collaboration makes them great choices to lead our exceptional team members.”

Both Ryan and Chris are partners in New Perspective and bring experience and enthusiasm to their new positions that will help propel the organization as it expands its geography and workforce.

“I am humbled and excited to be leading such a wonderful team and continuing the legacy that my grandmother, Betty, inspired,” said Ryan Novaczyk. “As we celebrate 20 years in business, I am motivated by the residents, families, and team members we are serving today and those we have yet to serve as we work towards achieving our 2025 vision. It’s going to be a great journey!”

Hyatt, who joined the company as a partner & COO in December of 2016, has been instrumental in reshaping the company’s senior leadership team and operating infrastructure to allow for rapid growth while maintaining standards and discipline.

“Over the last couple of years, we’ve put into place all of the elements to accomplish our objectives, said Hyatt. “I look forward to continued partnership with Ryan and the entire team to achieve the growth goals we’ve set. It’s going to be a busy, but exciting time as we look to 2025.”

The announcement comes on the heels of the opening of the company’s new 30,000 square-foot Resource Center and Headquarters. The building opens with 49 team members and features a 100-seat training center, work enhancing conference rooms, workstations, and collaboration suites, architectural/interior design studio, video production and communications center, fitness facilities and much more. The design concept has already fostered improved communication, productivity and camaraderie.

“Our new Resource Center is a collaborative space designed to address the expansion of our team and provide for technologies that will help us better support our communities and the seniors they serve,” said Ryan.

So that Team Members are always inspired by the company’s foundational belief that everyone deserves to Live Life on Purpose®, the space celebrates seniors who have made exceptional accomplishments after the age of 70. Meeting rooms in the office are named for and include graphics of inspirational seniors including Glen Campbell, Julia Child, Toni Morrison and John Glenn. Large wall murals and conference room plagues honor other seniors who did amazing things after 70.

Just planning for the new space fostered true collaboration among the company’s team members. Multiple, team member-led work groups provided guidance on interior design and amenities that would foster a great working atmosphere.

“It is no secret that finding the best and brightest team members is a challenge for all companies. Actively engaging our team members by creating a space that is vibrant, energetic and appealing to their needs will further enhance our ability to attract and retain purpose driven talent,” Hyatt commented.
