ON THE MOVE: Recent Personnel Moves in Senior Living

Juniper Communities has announced in a press release the promotion of Colby Johle to regional director of operations for Texas. In his new role, Johle supports four Juniper Villages in Texas. With more than two decades of experience in senior living, memory care, and skilled nursing, Johle has been with Juniper for more than 17 years. He is a Registered Nurse and holds an Assisted Living Certification.

At GreenFields of Geneva in Geneva, Illinois, Eric Jansen has been elevated to executive chef from his position as sous chef, while Brenon Sommers is the new dining services director.

Retirement Unlimited, Inc. has shared that Regional Director of Operations Paola Fusaro has joined the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association Board of Directors. In this role, she will join 14 other senior-living professionals to advocate for residents’ rights to informed decisions, quality care, and accessibility across the state of Pennsylvania. Fusaro has been with RUI since 2008.

The Residence at Brookside, an IL, AL, and memory-care community in Avon, Connecticut, owned and operated by LCB Senior Living, announced in a press release the hiring of Jenny Cazares as the sales and marketing director. Cazares joins The Residence at Brookside as a seasoned sales and marketing professional who formerly worked as a realtor and in property management.

The Residence at Glastonbury, another IL, AL, and memory-care community in Avon, Connecticut, owned and operated by LCB Senior Living, has announced the hiring of Jeremy Tucker as the resident engagement director. He brings about 10 years of senior-living industry experience to his new role.

Brandon Wilde has hired Craig LaPonzina as executive chef. LaPonzina has spent much of his career working in restaurants, most recently for the Augusta Marriott and Frog Hollow Hospitality Group.
