Presbyterian Communities and Services Announces New Corporate Brand

October 18, 2019

DALLAS, TX–Presbyterian Communities and Services, a long-time Dallas provider of senior living and hospice services, has unveiled its new corporate brand—Forefront Living. The organization currently owns and operates Presbyterian Village North, a continuing care retirement community, and provides comprehensive hospice care through T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center and Faith Presbyterian Hospice.

“Our history of service to the residents of North Texas began in the early 1960s and we’re proud of the impact our organization has had, and continues to have, in the lives of the families we serve,” said Tim Mallad, Forefront Living’s CEO. “As a new generation of seniors and consumers continues to reshape our industry, it’s imperative we adapt to these changing attitudes and preferences with new options and approaches, including how we present ourselves. This new name takes the best of who we always have been and positions us to be distinctive, innovative and forward-thinking.”

Presbyterian Village North is a 66-acre community with more than 480 independent living apartment homes, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing residences. The Hawthorne, a multimillion-dollar expansion of 112 apartment homes, is scheduled to break ground next year. The T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center opened in 2017 and sits on a 9-acre campus. It has 36 care suites, plus space for the organization’s home office.

Current names of communities and services will remain the same, and it is anticipated a new website will launch prior to the end of 2019.

“We put considerable thought and discernment into this decision,” said Mallad, adding the organization is also introducing an updated mission and values that reflect our faith-based heritage, built on compassion, integrity, diversity and stewardship to complement the change. “We believe it best serves our people, who rely on us for attentive care, enriching community culture and rewarding employment. As Forefront Living, I’m confident we’ll continue to be a leading choice in senior living, hospice and post-acute services for seniors and their families”
