Solinity Announces Partnership to Start Bridging the Gap in Senior Living

MONTGOMERY, AL–Solinity, a progressive senior living owner/operator, is pleased to announce its partnership with Terry Scott, CEO of Sierra Cove Group of Companies. Joshua Crisp, founder, president and CEO of Solinity, will lead the team managing Scott’s newly acquired community in Montgomery, Ala., called CaraVita Village.

Crisp and Scott share a vision to bring resort-style living filled with choices and high-quality amenities to seniors at affordable prices. By working together, they plan to bridge a gap that currently exists in senior housing.

Through renovations, new programming, a spa and wellness center, health care coordination, concierge services and improvements across the board, the duo will work together to fill a void in the market. This partnership marks the first community management project for senior living visionary Joshua Crisp and Solinity.

“There is a big gap in the market when it comes to affordable senior living, and we are excited to bring this new concept to seniors in Montgomery,” said Crisp. “Right now, middle-class seniors do not have housing options that incorporate high-quality amenities, concierge services and the lifestyle they desire. Our industry needs to cater to this group—especially with more boomers retiring—and this is the first step toward reaching seniors who would not have these options otherwise.

“We are thrilled about this newly formed partnership with Terry,” Crisp added. “From the very beginning it was evident that our ideals and purpose aligned, which is very important to both of us. We look forward to working on this project together.”

With a long history and deep insight in senior housing, Crisp and his team are dedicated to working closely with owners to turn vision into reality. The community currently has 168 apartments and focuses on independent living.

The renovations and new accommodations will promote an active and fulfilling lifestyle, and the layout of the apartments in the community itself will help combat loneliness and prevent isolation. The floor plans will include single- and double-occupancy suites which by design will allow residents to form new friendships and find companionship.

“In Montgomery, there is a tremendous need for affordable accommodations in an all-inclusive resort-style environment, much like a cruise ship that never leaves port,” Scott said. “I look forward to serving older adults in the community, and I am thrilled to work with Josh and his team. We are like-minded, we think outside of the box and we understand how to identify what things aren’t being done well and how to fix them. I am always looking for opportunities to acquire communities that need repositioning, and I hope to positively impact the lives of many seniors for years to come.”
