SRI Management Expands in North Carolina, Alabama, and Virginia

August 23, 2024

TALLAHASSEE, FL — SRI Management has announced, in three separate press releases, its expansion on the eastern seaboard with new management agreements in North Carolina, Alabama, and, through an affiliate, Virginia.

With the management transition to SRI Management of Trevi Vibrant Senior Living, an all-inclusive independent-living community in Northeast Charlotte, SRI has its first community in North Carolina.

Trevi Vibrant Senior Living offers a variety of amenities including exercise and fitness facilities, a pickleball court, a library, a chapel, and two outdoor courtyards, and it’s close to Concord Mills, which offers abundant shopping, entertainment, hospitality, and medical options. The community is part of the 45-acre Trevi Village mixed-use development, featuring old-world, Tuscan-style architecture connected by intimate pathways.

“We are excited to expand into North Carolina and bring our expertise in senior living to the vibrant city of Charlotte,” said Todd Filippone, president of SRI Management. “Our goal is to enhance the lives of our residents by providing top-notch services and amenities promoting independence and wellbeing.”

SRI Management has also announced the addition of Pioneer Senior Living at Upland Park, a Nicol Investment Company-owned property, to its family of senior-living communities. Located in Huntsville, Alabama, this retirement-living community combines independent-living, assisted-living, and memory-care options, along with 24 retirement villas.

“Huntsville is a vibrant and growing area, and we are excited to foster strong connections within the community,” said Don Bishop, CEO of SR Companies. “Our goal is to ensure that Pioneer Senior Living is not just a place to live, but a true community where residents can engage and thrive.”

“We are delighted to welcome Pioneer Senior Living to the SRI Management family,” said Filippone. “Our commitment is to provide a top-tier living experience and create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where residents feel at home.”

Pioneer Senior Living at Upland Park boasts a modern farmhouse aesthetic that blends with the surrounding Huntsville area. Its design celebrates Huntsville’s rich community heritage in agriculture, space exploration, and national intelligence through details incorporated into the architecture and interior design. The community features a café, spa, gym, activity room with a demo kitchen, theater room, golf simulator room, an outdoor putting green, outdoor dining areas, a bocce court, and a rooftop terrace with an outdoor fireplace.

Additionally, SRI Management-affiliated Impact Senior Living is now managing Carriage Hill Retirement in Bedford, Virginia.

“Carriage Hill Retirement is a welcoming senior living community nestled in historic Bedford, where residents enjoy a lifestyle tailored to their needs,” said Impact Senior Living VP of Operations Andrew Hendry. “Overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway, our team provides high-quality care, and whether a resident lives in assisted living or memory care, Carriage Hill offers a vibrant community where they can truly thrive.”

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Impact Senior Living and work alongside Andrew Hendry,” added Filippone. “This partnership marks a new frontier for SRI Management, and we’re excited to welcome Carriage Hill Retirement into our portfolio. We look forward to bringing our shared vision of exceptional senior care to this wonderful community.”

“SRI Management brings a wealth of experience and dedication to creating senior living communities,” said Bishop. “Our extensive background in the senior-living industry equips us with the unique ability to understand and meet the diverse needs of our residents. We are committed to providing exceptional care beyond basic services, ensuring our residents enjoy a fulfilling and enriched lifestyle.”

Based in this Florida panhandle city, SRI Management oversees 50 independent-living, assisted-living, and memory-care communities.
