TALLAHASSEE, FL–SRI Management LLC, a highly personal, results-oriented senior living management company with more than 25 communities throughout the Southeast, proudly unveils an innovative assisted living and memory care community—Village Veranda—with 125 residences poised on the perimeter of The Villages in Lady Lake, FL.

Touting an amenity-rich, resort style environment with signature active lifestyle offerings, the new Village Veranda meets a significant market demand, providing compassionate care for seniors seeking additional assistance in their daily lives. Developed by Gordon Companies LLC and owned by Village Veranda Lady Lake LLC, Village Veranda is managed by SRI Management, a company noted in the industry for its level of dedicated service, value and resident care.

“The Villages and its surrounding destinations continue to be an alluring location for seniors,” said Don Bishop, chief executive officer, SRI Management. “Village Veranda provides the ideal location and environment for potential residents already living in the local community. We are thrilled to unveil Village Veranda as a fresh, unexpected option for the natural transition to more personalized, complete care. Moreover, we are happy to bring more than 80 job opportunities to the area.”

Village Veranda includes a healthy mix of residences—100 assisted living apartments up to 875 square-feet and ranging from studio to two-bedroom options. In addition, the community offers 25 private Memory Care apartments, each 350-449 square-feet. The 117,000 square-foot community is designed by Forum Architecture and Design. Core Construction led the construction team.

Amenities and offerings encompass proprietary SRI Management programming, including Artful Dining—a research-backed culinary concept designed to keep seniors engaged in the social and health benefits of proper nutrition; Zestful Activities—providing an abundance of activities to keep residents physically and social active; and Heartful Care—creating comfort and security for residents in their new home.

SRI Management selected seasoned senior living industry leaders Karen Burch and Cindy Thiede to take the helm, as Village Veranda’s executive director and director of sales, respectively. With SRI Management proprietary tools in-place, Burch is working with her team to create a service-driven, active lifestyle culture at Village Veranda.
