Tutera Senior Living & Health Care Announces $1.5 Million Remodel of Overland Park’s The Atriums

So far, Tutera has transformed the 50,000-square-foot first-floor common living area into upscale, modernized dining and gathering places for a more active living environment. Amenities and services include an elegant main dining area, upscale community lounges for entertaining, a pub, cards and billiards room, grand piano, reading corner and more. All new furnishings will complete the bright and airy, inviting space. Work began in November 2018.

During phase 2 of the remodel, Tutera will update finishes within The Atriums’ 168 Independent Living apartment homes, which feature seven different floor plans. The remodel will also include updating the 35 Assisted Living apartment homes. The residences will be modernized with new lighting, flooring, paint and other upscale finishes. Phase 2 work is expected to be complete in the next 12 to 18 months.

Unlike other senior communities that require a buy-in or large upfront payment, The Atriums is a rental-based community for discerning seniors who want more choice and flexibility.

Residents at The Atriums also have priority access to Tutera Senior Living’s full complement of post-acute health care services including home health onsite, as well as rehabilitation and skilled nursing at one of Tutera’s nearby facilities, customized to meet diverse health care needs.
