TUCSON, AZ–Watermark Retirement Communities has begun providing professional management services to six more communities in Arizona and California. In this role, Watermark is bringing a host of signature resident engagement programs to the communities, which all offer assisted living and memory care.

“For more than three decades, we have focused on helping people attain their full potential and discover new opportunities to live well and thrive,” said Watermark President and CEO David Barnes. “In managing these additional communities, we’re excited about making this possible for even more residents and their families.”

The communities are:

  • Caliche Senior Living, Casa Grande, AZ
  • Joshua Springs Senior Living, Bullhead City, AZ
  • White Cliffs Senior Living, Kingman, AZ
  • Crown Cove, Corona del Mar, CA
  • Raincross at Riverside, Riverside, CA
  • Whittier Place, Whittier, CA

Watermark, based in Tucson, is ranked as the nation’s 13th-leading senior living operator by the American Seniors Housing Association. The company currently operates over 50 communities coast to coast. Its programs center on the seven dimensions of senior wellness, which are intellectual enrichment, social engagement, spirituality, emotions, vocation, physical health and one’s environment.

Key initiatives include its award-winning Watermark University, featuring engaging classes for residents and area seniors; the Thrive Dining for memory care program; and Extraordinary Outings, in which residents help plan excursions to explore new places beyond the ordinary.
