Welcome to Senior Community Forum

By Olivia Beaton | July 9, 2020

At Senior Living News, we have identified a need for change and innovation to better serve the ever-changing and evolving senior living industry. During these uncertain times, we have dedicated ourselves to creating a way to stay connected, informed, and educated, and so Senior Community Forum was born.

Senior Community Forum is a social media-based platform enabling you to easily connect with colleagues and join social groups, featuring curated news from Senior Living News. The need to connect the senior living community is crucial now more than ever during this time of isolation and quarantine. Senior Community Forum will serve as a place where all things senior living related collide, as well as a way to connect, collaborate, and learn from others in the industry.

SCF provides the latest news every day, with exclusive feature stories on industry changes, trends, thought leaders, innovations, and more. Senior Community Forum will be your leading source of communication keeping you up to date and informed on all things senior living.

“Senior Community Forum has been created to keep the industry connected and businesses moving forward,” said Rich Viola, CEO, Senior Living News, Inc. “This new platform is a stimulating hybrid combining the best of social media with timely industry news and business-building resources and tools. It is your resource to connect with others in the senior living industry in a way that has never existed before.”

Some of the unique aspects of Senior Community Forum (SCF) include a multi-media channel featuring one-on-one interviews with key industry leaders, roundtables and podcasts, as well as virtual keynote presentations and the latest industry data. In addition, SCF will send out a weekly newsletter to subscribers with a feature article and the latest industry news and events.

Driven by a strong social media component, SCF will afford users the opportunity to create their own profile, post photos, and communicate directly with other industry execs with live chat functionality. Meanwhile, resource guides provide multiple touchpoints for various facets of the industry including brands, management companies, owners/developers, architects/designers, purchasing companies, and suppliers to name a few.

We’ve all heard the saying “the more things change the more they stay the same.” Being able to adapt quickly to change is a necessity in today’s world more than ever. As we’ve learned through past events and downturns this industry is nothing if not resilient. The SCF team is thrilled to bring a much needed and exciting change to the industry and hopes to ignite connection even amidst unpredictable times.

“The need to communicate and stay connected is more important than ever before. Many are struggling to find answers and proper methodology. You are all a part of our great senior living community. Senior Community Forum is now your community,” said Viola.

Every company in the senior living industry has had to re-evaluate how they do business in the wake of the current pandemic. All of us at Senior Community Forum hope this new platform can help your business pivot as it needs to and continue to be successful. We’d love to hear what you think of the new site, please feel free to email me obeaton@seniorlivingnews.com with any questions, comments, or general feedback.
