Wellspire Names New Community “The Summit of Bettendorf”

JOHNSTON, IOWA–Wellspire, an organization formed by the partnership of WesleyLife and Genesis Health System, announced that the new senior living community it is building in Bettendorf will be called The Summit of Bettendorf. The organization announced earlier this year that the community would be called The Meridian.

WellSpire officials said The Summit of Bettendorf better illustrates the premise of the new campus; a summit is defined as “the highest point on a hill or mountain,” connoting a premier and incomparable experience for those who will reside and work in the new community.

WellSpire will break ground in September near the southwest corner of the roundabout at 53rd Street and Middle Road for The Summit of Bettendorf, which will bring a new kind of senior living to the Quad Cities.

The campus will include Levels of Living ranging from Independent Living through Assisted Living, Assisted Living Memory Support, Short-Term Rehabilitation, and Long-Term Healthcare, with all programming conceived around a focus of health and well-being.
